Inmould
Inmould labels are highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals. For example, that is particularly important with multi-use plastic cups in order to preserve the decoration even after numerous cleaning cycles.
The printed film is pressure-formed into shape. Before the injection moulding process it is inserted into the mould, where it combines with the injected plastic. The injection moulding process results in a smooth surface without edges that prevents any infiltration. This procedure thereby meets the hygienic standards in the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
