For more than 25 years, management systems at CARINI have been regularly audited according to ISO 9001 (quality), 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 or now ISO 45001 (safety/health). This was also the case in 2020, which saw a premiere: certification in accordance with ISO 22000 (food safety/hygiene) took place for the first time. “By adding a food safety standard to our integrated management system, we are optimizing protection for our customers and consumers,” said Peter Hülle, the QSGU manager at CARINI. “The globally valid ISO 22000 covers all processes in the food chain that have an impact on the safety of the end product – and it can be easily combined with our previously certified standards.”
