The laser print is lasered out of a dark ink that was printed in a previous process. This results in a white font. This method is also suitable for structured materials and is mainly used to print codes or consecutive numbering lengthwise and crosswise. The great advantage of this method is the sharpness of the lettering and the printing speed. Perforated labels are an exception, as the speed must be reduced in such cases. Further restrictions apply to the choice of font and the direction in which the print runs.
